We are what we think and how we think about this "activity..."

Therefore, it is crucially important to be:

(1) Aware in the first place,     Now

(2) Attain a sense of Perspective of what is occurring

(3) "Shape one's narrative through positive suggestion, self affirmations, sacred sayings (phrases), mantras, prayers

Get it!  got it! good!  Practice is how we learn to effectively do the above, practice all day...

what else is more important than this, one's own well being and therefore of those around one Self (?)

Speaker:

Good morning. I just re-listened to yesterday's podcast, and it's humbling to be aware of these things we're speaking about. I've been thinking this morning so far about modularity versus omnipresence in one's perspective. Do we compartmentalize? Do we focus and narrow down our awareness or concentration or being in the moment to therefore then having forgotten everything else that surrounds us, a more omnipresent awareness? Oftentimes we do. How then can we find a correlation or a compromise between the two by being aware? By remembering the majesty of our own being, of our potential, of the possibilities we each share. Oh, I spoke yesterday about being in a comfortable posture and chose seating and began to speak about our breathing and our pulsing and the dissemination of our energy in many ways, and finding ourselves increasingly comfortable and calm, acquiring a sense of peace, realizing the majesty in each of us. We have a great deal to be proud of and to be considered of, and to uphold the responsibility and stewardship that we are born with from this continuation of the evolution of being alive, of being a Homo sapien. Just how lucky we are oftentimes is forgotten. And especially today for most of us in the twenty-first century, it resembles in many ways the way it was ten thousand years ago in the sense we are human. Physiologically, we haven't changed much. But in the environment we find ourselves, think of the difference between living in a cave or in a basic shelter of some sort, or under the sky in the first place, what we have in comparison to what that life represented survival in most instances. Now we have all these different tools at our disposal, which are a great boom for us, and yet also a distraction. So in mindful meditation, the purpose then can be in part to consider what we're discussing right now and to widen one's perspective, omnipresent perspective, versus modular, where we're consumed with the responsibilities of one's job, for instance, or one's social activities. Being here now, a bundle of miracles, is the first of three phrases I like to repeat to myself all day. Being here now, a bundle of miracles. It helps set the tone in my own awareness, humbled before the immensity of creation, again, helping to further set the tone of my own receptivity, humbled, open, witnessing of as much as I can gather in my mind, humbled, before the immensity of creation, and thankful. Thankful for just being alive. It is a struggle to continue and to wish and work towards self-improvement, to have this as one's goal. It is, at least for me, it is a continuing effort. It is not simple, it is up and down and all around. It is like a saw. It has its edges. It goes up, it goes down, it goes up, it goes down. It's like this. And it's not once in a while, it's every day. And it's not just every day, it is every moment. We need to apply our capacity, our potential to be aware, to remember, to be sensitive and receptive enough to allow these conclusions to rise and become one's awareness with the possibility of a spark occurring, of a realization to occur, self-realization, self-revelation. That's what these words are. They're equal signs in between all of these concepts. Self-illumination. What are we doing? We're shining a light upon ourselves. Virtuosity is our goal. Self-improvement, kindness, compassion, understanding, empathy, friendship, love, discipline, objectivity, being able to be an unbiased witness, are just a few of the virtues one can consider to gain, to become more aware of. When one acquires a comfortable posture, as we spoke about yesterday in part one, we went through an analysis or a movement of steps to acquire greater degrees of sensitivity and calmness. With the anticipation, there is a result that is being acquired, which is the openness to be a witness and learn more. Who is the teacher? It is oneself. The most knowledgeable guru is the one inside of oneself. For this is the one ultimately has the most understanding of one's own being. One must rise to being receptive, to prosper from one's sense of peace and calm. Being in this comfortable posture, undisturbed, and beginning to process and fathom one's own physical processes, one's breath rising and subsiding. One's pulse, squeezing, and relaxing in one's heart muscle, pressurizing the blood to flow through your vascular system. One's increased sensitivity, perhaps in one's hands being gently held together, fingers to fingers, thumbs to thumbs, palms to palms, or some derivation thereof, to be a witness evaluating the presence of warmth, of heat being generated, of the potential of coming to a conclusion there is, if this is happening, what else is occurring which I'm unaware of or barely aware of. It is in these things we are considering, taking nothing for granted, and learning as much as we can. We have so many resources today, the internet is with the AI today, Google search, for instance, which is what I use, you can ask questions. And if you don't get the answer you wish, then frame the question in a different way, until you are feeling that the answer is actually applying to the question from your mind. Because it can be subtle, the differences. Just like in everything that we're discussing right now, there are subtleties between being receptive or not, of being a witness or not, of having one's ego involved in what we're doing or not. That's the difference between being open-minded and closed-minded. If one's ego is dictating what you are thinking, shutting things off. If it's unpleasant, for instance, watch out. Your ego is only as old as your physical body, your form is in this life. So it may be twenty years or fifty years or eighty years or whatever years old. But your soul, and what we like to think of as our in quote, heart are countless generations in growth. Generation after generation, having added its own unique imprint into whom we are. Which would you rather choose? Well, look at both is even better. It's not that one has to choose one or the other. What did we just say when we began this podcast? Modular or omnipresent awareness. Perspective. Awareness equals perspective. Which one would you choose? Do you want to be one or the other? Or can you have both? And you can have both. You can understand where you have come from through evolution, and you can balance that with what you have learned in this lifetime. How much better than being just one or the other? It is in part two that we say to ourselves, practice fosters improvement. This is the most important thing to get out of today's lesson. It is not just a repeat of what we did yesterday. It is the mental capacity, the spiritual essence of what one needs to bring into one's thinking. It is not a once and done in one's daily activity. It is an opportunity to change one's life all the time. Remembering, reminding oneself to being here now. In my way, a bundle of miracles. But it can be yours too. I share it freely, or your own. Humbled before the majesty of creation, and thankful. Again, time is flying. Eighty-six thousand four hundred moments need to pass through each and every day. So our time is already gone. Practice doesn't make perfect, but it is better than not practicing. And attaining virtuosity, being kind, and understanding of one's own multitasking personality. You're not responsible for this. It is millions and millions and millions of years old. It is ingrained in one's DNA. It is called survival to be this way. Understanding, kind, burnish one's strength, one's discipline, one's capacity to improve. Having a wonderful day with a smile is my wish for you and me. The music is going to go on for another minute. Enjoy it and linger and think. And share this. We need to expand and grow as a race, as Homo sapiens.
