It is by one's relentless pursuit of self improvement which plants the seeds of one's success.  Of course, it might be in the beginning one is too "in-sensitive" to see this.  But, with continuation or Practice as many call it, success must come as surely as the day follows the night.

I know the foibles of be-ing human, of starting and stopping time and again, perhaps it is in one's journey to do this, don't be discouraged, find your courage, and continue, propelling one Self into self improvement.   Demanding success!

One tool is self affirmation, use it, and grow, using it to nurture one Self is the Goal.

It is simple, direct, and obvious.  We are whom we think we are.

the important question is " whom do you want to be ? "

How will you accomplish this ?

SPEAKER_00:

Good morning. Beautiful day. To be humble and thankful is a great way to begin one's day. It helps allow oneself to have an open mind and a clean slate for what is going to be coming towards us as our moments cascade towards us. Our world is full of fellow Homo sapiens. The ocean is vast with our kind. All varying degrees of wisdom and knowledge and experience. How can we help each other? Is a viable and important question to ask. When there is so much in our world today, wherein it is filled with misconceptions, distortion, we need to more closely verify, come to a better understanding of what's being said or portrayed, what is being written, evaluate what actually is the truth. But I didn't come here today to just talk about that. Today I was thinking earlier, affirmations help aspirations come true. It is in line with what I've just said. Because what you think is what you are capable of, oftentimes a result of the circumstances or the environments from which we come. So it's important to consider everything, to be more aware. Always coming back to the same scenarios, perspective, one's perception is so vitally important to be as open-minded aware as one can be. If there are those that are more closed-minded, then one must look with some degree of skepticism of why. Perhaps they are full of fear. Their way will not stand the muster of analysis of time, and so attempt to cloister their adherents, those participants, into a set way. It is my reflection, my opinion. One must come to their own conclusions as we do every day. Humbled by the immensity we find ourselves in, both through the essence of time, proceeding relentlessly for what we consider to be billions of years, evolution, and the vast reaches, distances of space. Increasingly we have found James Webb's new telescopes in space. To see we're within the context of our universe, its vastness expands further than we ever initially had thought, let's say twenty years ago. It keeps growing. Affirmations. What is an affirmation? It is the concept of one practicing as one utters or thinks or writes down how one is going to accomplish what one is setting out to do. What we hope or desire for. First of all, it can change. There's nothing wrong with that. Because as we change in our age, as moments pass by, we filter things differently. The goals that one has when one is five years old is different than the goals one has most likely by the time they're twenty-five. Again, by the time one reaches fifty. By the time one reaches seventy-five, the goals are changing. Why? Because of our experience. Because of our relationship with our world, inclusive of everything, ourselves. What have we found through our own experience? What have we found with our families or those close knit to us? What have we come to find or accept in our truth? Everything is related. Everything has a part to play in whom we are. We are a product of our evolution. Not only the evolution found in one's DNA, but of the evolution we have occurring as we live our day-to-day. It is why again affirmations are so vitally important if you and I allow them to be. We are here now. We are calling ourselves to be present, to be focused, to be concentrating on what we are doing in this time together. A bundle of miracles. This is positivity. This is the beginning of sensing an opportunity. If I am indeed a bundle of miracles, what am I capable of? A lot. Humbled, open-minded, capable of being a witness without one's ego protruding or limiting what we are capable of receiving in the way of information coming into our minds. That we are receptive to both the positive and what we would call the negative. And being able to discern, make lessons for ourselves, make new determinations of how we can improve, not criticize, build, not tear down our own beings, whom we are. It is important to build, create positivity. Affirmations are exactly this. And yet there is still a great deal of ignorance in regard to affirmations. How does one affirm to themselves simply in one word? One need not make a long paragraph of possibilities towards a virtue. Stated simply and firmly is another aspect of it. Firmly. One's mental capacity, one's mind, conscious and unconscious, has no doubt about what we're talking about. I am strong. Period. Not I wish I was strong, or I want to be strong, or I'm thinking it would be a good idea to be strong, or unfortunately, I'm not strong. I can't be strong. These are not affirmations, these are negative suggestions reinforcing failure. Oh, I can't do that. Oh, I'm working on that. If you're working on something, you're not something. Be here. Now. It is why these words are so powerful. It is why these words are so valuable. I am strong. Make it so. Make it a beginning. I was talking to someone, they said, Oh, I can't. I'm working on that with my therapists, which was not being negative. It is not a question of working with someone else. And it is, in my opinion, not the therapists to think that it is for them to be helpful, to help you, an individual or me, an individual, to be. Affirming to ourselves as rungs on a ladder lead one rung by rung to a higher state. It is in one's awareness where the seeds of success are planted, where the possibilities are created and become flowers and fruit for us to look upon, realizing, witnessing positive things are coming true. Not randomly, but by one's own creation. The time is gone. It flies by like a bird in the sky quickly. Today's an opportunity to fly in one's mind, to remember one's foundation, step firmly upon what has come before us. Being aware of all these different things, we have the capacity to be aware of. Our breathing, our pulsing, the energy emanating in and outside of our bodies, our capacity to think, to yearn, to aspire, and the tools we utilize. I wish everyone in this world good fortune. Especially you. The music continues for around another minute. Please linger and think about how we're going to make our day better today than yesterday. And do it. Be firm. Be affirmative. You see how firm is part of the word affirmative.
