Zaran the Gardener, planting seeds of & nourishing our Soul with mindfulness
Aka, "Our Practice: Sharing" is a Returning to our Senses, Why? Who we are, forgotten, taken for granted, most likely, this describes all of us, then Remembering is important, which will lead us to realize how very much more similar we are than we usually think... Got around fifteen minutes, Let me help plant some seeds in your Soul. Mindfulness results from widening one's perspective in meaningful ways. It is more than just using meditation as a tool, it is how you use it that opens the doors. Usually, fellow practitioners don't talk about this or they cover it scantily as it takes a deep dive of investigating our Selves and gets personal real quick. Depth is how we learn to distinguish our foundation, sure we might stumble or step on some toes, yet, honesty & authenticity is what acts as our springboard to Success. Open mindedness is an important key.
My goal is yours, to improve in a soulful, harmonious manner. Simple experiences can lead to natural, easy ways to greater self awareness and clarity. There is no mystical or religious tone here, just accumulated scientific wisdom. Don't think that your possibilities are limited from the outside, it is more "our selves thinking" that limit whom we are. Change, as in "all of the Universe" constantly shifting, is actually part of our gift as it is always nudging us, jostling us to respond or react, bingo, that is whom we are, whom we are.... now. If you are as tired of failure as I have been, if you want to change your Life in positive ways without mumbo jumbo, if you are disappointed when help starts asking for money, and if you are ready to commit (not to me), but to your Self, to your Practice, then welcome aboard. If not, we are always here.
The cost is still considerable, not in currency, it is in your commitment of time, I don't take it lightly, 15 minutes of formal mediation is a lot, begun best at the beginning of one's day (better to benefit you), we accept all forms of excuses when you can't, but understand, it is "practice" that actually helps one improve. Even if you can make 5 minutes that will do to start. What this means is "you" are beginning to develop "whom you want to be" in your practice sessions. If you are not there or not being attentive, or not committing, then how can you expect to proceed and succeed? Many live and die, never to know what it means to be fully alive, never appreciating the simple gift of life we have been given.

Good morning. Taking nothing for granted. Good morning is a phrase we often use to describe a salutation. A positive salutation, indeed. Good morning. As if to welcome our day with a sense of positivity, it is a great beginning one can have. It can also be just two words tied together having no significance. It is in how one defines these words and their symbology in one's mind. What are we portraying? Is it just a greeting without any depth? Or is it meant sincerely? I'm sure for all of us it is different, different times, depending on our circumstance, depending on the events preceding. And yet it is just another example of our need to be as conscious, as fully conscious as we can be, being aware, being alert, awakening to our potential. It brings me to a few things I wrote down this morning. Take not one day nor one moment, not dear, or in the vernacular taken for granted. Firstly, for it is all we have. Second, it is a gift to be appreciated and thoughtful for. Yes, it is simple and makes sense. Cultivating one's moment brings one's day to bear fruit. Common sense. All we have is a long string of moments, events, which are what we could also call life, one's life experiences. What is the most important thing we can do? What is it that we can accomplish? Amongst those things, one might choose to learn, take advantage of our ability to prioritize, organize, discipline, in the way we consider our activities, our goals, our aspirations for now, for these moments we are in, our hours, our days, our weeks, our months, our years, our life. This makes sense too, right? Common sense. Remember, be aware, be prepared, be flexible. For one need to always be mindful of the changing characteristic of our reality, of our universe, of our energy, which we are all conglomerations of. So we can adapt and make our way through life better prepared. Sometimes I hear the definition of meditation is mindlessness. But it isn't the definition of meditation to me. To me, the definition of meditation is mindfulness. One embraces and cultivates an awareness as wide and as deep as one can... It is in being appreciative in as far as the role of evolution has made a generation by generation contribution to one's life, to one's DNA. Would you wish to forget, in a sense deny all of this? For what? For momentary focusing and concentration on bliss or nothingness? I don't think so. I think there is a miscommunication. I don't think that people really want this, or maybe one does. But I think it's a cop-out to be sitting in a cave, be it in New Jersey or in the Himalayas. It is selfish, in my opinion, to be this way. And it is representative, in my opinion, of a lack of taking responsibility for one's own actions, one's own thoughts, one's own stewardship of helping mankind. We are a family, Homo sapiens. Each and every human being upon this world is our cousin. This is what science says. We have originated from Africa and headed north into the lands of Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, and God knows elsewhere, into the oceans and spread again and again over time, over generations. It really is amazing. So in juxtaposing the difference between mindfulness and mindlessness, would you rather consider a desire to be empty or a desire to be full? Would you rather have the capacity, the capability, and in a positive way of thinking, the good fortune of having an opportunity to be able to review your memories and to live as fully present in these moments as possible? Or would you rather draw a blank? This is a simple question. We have a stewardship, in my opinion. Embrace it. The real elephant in the room we're talking about is in how one's perception is being utilized. What are the cultivating tools one is using in one's perception of the moment, of one's memories, of one's deeds, of one's experiences. This is the crux of the matter. Shining a light, illuminating everything about everything due to one's own being. And yet the real significance is in how or in what tools we are utilizing, virtuosity or ignorance, understanding, kindness, compassion. Or are we using pity and feeling disappointment or shame? It is a question of this. Of course, if one has the latter, then I can understand why one would want to, in essence, hide from one's disappointments, from one's fears. Yet, is this any way to live one's life? It is in the light of one's self-analysis, understanding, deeper and wider contemplation, one's learning to have a greater perspective where the light brightens, and we can come to a better sense of ourselves, of our moments, of our time, because this is our time to excel. This is the time when one can curl the fingers together as in a fist, or open them. This is the time of one's being alive. It is, as we began today, an incredible opportunity we share. How are you taking advantage of this life? We have literally been given as a gift. Sometimes in my own mind I ask myself this question whom do you think you are? I don't ask it with any sense of questioning, but to remind myself. One, I am the son of my mother and father, those that have given me my last name, my DNA. Also, in a wider sense, we are all children of God, a son or daughter. It is wise to keep both in mind that one not forget, but as often as possible remember the sanctity of one's own life. Remembering we have in essence three ways to view our world friendly, open, one, or neutral, ignoring, taking for granted, two, or being disappointed or unhappy, or sad or angry. Three. Of these three, which one are you choosing by your mental and physical activity? Is the question to be considered today? And every day, in every moment, one can play in this fast game of life. This is worthy of one's consideration. And one's effort. Again, prioritizing, organizing one's activities = self-improvement, virtuosity in one's practice, affirmations in one's practice are three solutions to be implementing for self-improvement. The music lingers for another minute, please linger with it, enjoy it, enjoy one's sense of calm, rising, shining, illuminating one's own consciousness, one's own being, one's own gift of life.
