I see all good people now. Mindful meditation with Zaran is an introduction to technique, some tools, which are beneficial for one to acquire and basically study oneself. Learn to relax and to be open-minded is important as a beginning for our effort, creating an opportunity for self-improvement, nurturing ourselves. It is only the beginning. If you just want to learn how to relax, go to sleep, take a nap. This is the easiest of ways to recharge and rest one's body and mind. You don't need to meditate. If, on the other hand, you want to increase the potential of one's being, of one's mind, of one's physiology as well, because, we, through our minds control our bodies to some degree. For instance, through exercise, being careful of what we consume, or what we do generally, with or lacking "self awareness," on a daily basis. All our characteristics of what we can accomplish or not with our state of mind is an ever-present potential/ possibility. In every unique person's way, these characteristics hold true. What we are doing in our practice is focusing upon one, our foundation, our physicality, our DNA-oriented evolutionary understanding of what's going on, of what we are. Going back to the six questions illustrated by Thomas Wilson in 1560, a famous rhetorician of that time, a thinker, a philosopher. And he has these six questions which you most likely already know: what, when, and where. Why, who, and how are questions one can ask when a subject is at hand which you wish to be more conversant with, more understanding of, have more data about? Asking the AI or the OI, the organic intelligence in one's own mind about. These are legitimate questions. When one doesn't consider them, then one doesn't have as wide a perspective as does one who is asking these questions. Because these are good and full of purpose for better Self Understanding. They define any subject about anything. You can ask it about the origins of the universe, or you can ask it about the origins of oneself, or anything, again, of a pear. How does a pear come into being? Or an apple or an orange, or a fish, or a bird, or a world, or a solar system. These are legitimate pursuits of knowledge. So the point I'm making is that meditation for the sake of meditation, in quote, as we, or at least as as I have learned to perceive it over the decades of my life, has been a state of relaxation, potentially of a greater sense of calm and awareness, the possibility of bliss and ecstasy. And yes, these things are all within the context of learning to meditate and encompass in one's awareness these attributes. These are here, these are real. We are an ecstatic, energetic being. If one is sensitive, one can find this energy emanating inside all the time because it's doing it all the time, just as we are breathing and pulsing and heating in our bodies. We are also in a state of ecstasy. Our cells are continually celebrating life in every moment we breathe, in every pulse our heart creates squeezing the different chambers to press your blood through one's arteries and then through one's veins. There is a proverbial mouth being fed in a cell far, far away, in one's tips of one's toes or the end of one's nose. There is a celebration. One can be mindfully aware of this. This is another name for ecstasy. It is not something to hide or to perhaps be thinking of in any other way than what it is. It is the celebration of life itself. It is the shimmering or the vibration of one's cellular being. We have 37 trillion cells. It's a big party going on inside. You choose to be aware of it or not. Most of the things going on in our body, most, meaning 99.9%. Almost everything going on in you and I, as these words are filtering through our eardrums, into our auditory nerves, into our respective cerebrum, because we have two of them, a left and a right, is ignored or beyond our capacity to comprehend, come to grips with. Though we might see far in the distance, we don't come very well to understand our own selves. And that's okay. That's the way it is.

Speaker:

Acceptance is important. So getting back to this concept of what is it about meditation that is the most useful aspect of it, in my opinion, is the ability of once becoming aware of one's foundation, of one's physicality, these different processes, we are finding Our Selves beginning to reckon with new heighthened receptivity, assimilating reater sensitivity for gathering knowledge more objectively, in balance, in grace. The Seed of change herein is planted. Using our pulse or breathing or the heat emanating or even the ecstatic awareness we can become aware of and participate in, is the incredible potential, opportunity, ability to help ourselves change in positive ways. Taking the initiative to make these changes is what we do every day in our practice. Because we are intelligent, we know doing it as often as we can is more powerful. Helping us reach our goal more concretely, more rapidly. We want to do this not only every day, but many times a day. In many different ways, as many ways as we can. So when we come together for around 15 minutes as a way of practicing when we're beginning our day, throughout one's day, one can just easily spend a few moments, a few minutes to practice on one's own.

Speaker:

In my opinion, This is the ultimate to continue to be a new person all the time with grace and awareness.

Speaker:

We are anyway, be it, catching one's breath, as we could say, or pausing and refreshing one's mind, one's outlook, one's possibilities. How do we do this, this next step in self illumination? By becoming aware of our virtues, those we possess and those we need to improve, and those we need to learn more about and pursue. And it's as easy as just being mindful, as we've just stated, this last paragraph of information, this in itself is enough to begin the wheels turning for one's learning about and becoming, being something new. Creating a new ritual, a new habit, a new possibility for one's personality. It is what it is. It is why the effort is worth all the time put into it, because one is creating a better self for oneself, for one's family, for one's friends, for one's acquaintances, and in general for our world. Because you are going to be more responsible, a greater steward in every way, by being more mindful, by being more virtuous. Meditation is easy, and so is virtuosity. It is why I am enunciating about it right now. Because this is crucially important for one to do. I've gone to many, many opportunities of practicing meditation. I can't remember one where they spoke about what we're talking about right now. And yet, what is meditation without the aspect of self-improvement? Right? What is it about? Why? Because you're nervous and you've got excess energy and you want to learn how to calm down? Yeah? So what? Why are you nervous and want to calm down? Because you need to rearrange your thinking. And this is something occurring every day. So one need Practice every day and many times a day, if you're like me, so most likely. Well, you need to have more than just a cursory knowledge of meditation. One needs to be able to facilitate learning new ways of recognizing One Self, pensively, without obstructing one's thinking process. What can I do? What can I do to change the way I think in the first place is even better than learning how to correct something after the fact... practicing on a regular basis is success or postponing one's own Life Experience. It is a greater depth of being Alive.

Speaker:

Oh, I'm overexcited. Let me slow my breath down, let me breathe in four, hold for two, and breathe out for seven or eight. That's a great tool. But why are we nervous in the first place? Is more important. And because of our nature, we fail. We take the wrong turn, and all of a sudden confrontation with fear. Blood pressure increases. It's going to happen. It is part of life. And it's okay. We've discussed it many times. Multitasking Homo sapiens needed this ten thousand, twenty thousand, thirty thousand years ago to keep us safe when a saber-toothed tiger was lurking nearby in the woods. So today is a little different. Nonetheless, there are dangers and situations that apply. How do I improve? How do I choose my path more thoughtfully? And how do I come to a greater understanding of what's going on? By widening, broadening my perspective, by creating in myself a greater sense of virtuosity, more tools for me to utilize for self-improvement, patience, discipline, organization, kindness, understanding, experience, wisdom, maturity, just to name a few. Love, friendship, kindness. I say that a few times, it's so impotant! . We need to be able to evaluate ourselves in our own success and failures, and doing so, being more receptive and accepting because we act in kindness toward ourselves, understanding, helping us be able to better transcend negativity and be positive about what we're understanding, coming to terms with, and beginning to create positive change. It is what is most important. It is common sense. It's not anything beyond our basic understanding. It is the real deal. The music's going to continue for another minute, and my hope is that you're going to linger and think about these things. One's life depends upon it.
