Speaker

I seen all good people now. Hi. What do you think is standing between ourselves and the whole universe? Between our interior minds and our exterior world. What is it? It is the interface of our own minds. It is something ineffable, something you can't touch, but something that certainly one can feel. One can appreciate what I'm saying. When we think of our emotions, one can appreciate what is being said here when one thinks of one's actions. When you move your body, when your tongue moves in speech, when our chest rises and subsides, while we breathe, while our heart pumps, squeezes, oxygenated and carbon dioxide laden air in and out of our vascular system. All of these things are going on, some simultaneously to the deeper reaches of our minds, of our brainstem, of our cerebellum, of our cerebrums, left or right. All kinds of different interactions are going on inside. How does this correlate to what's outside? What are we suggesting? Nothing in particular, just of being aware of what's going on. We are determining inside of ourselves. We are responding to our outside environment, but we are also creating our response. In this way, we can be more mindful, and being more mindful, having a better grasp on what the possibilities are before us, what we can choose to do, what kind of assumptions we can make. Being mindful then seems to be a good choice for one to consider, to become, to be more of. And this is the purpose and philosophy of mindful meditation. Planting seeds of encouragement, of nourishment into our own beings. Is this, of course, it is a good way! So being aware that everything we see in every shade and color, everything we hear in the range of sound, of every kind of energy, we have a response. We have a rebounding of perception, widening, brightening, savoring, as much as we can. This is true wealth, more than just money. In our world, understandably, everyone says we need to have some kind of capital, be it shells or fish on a beach ten thousand years ago, or be it dollar bills in one's pocket today. Something we need to have a value, something that is worthy of our attention, of this mind we have. It's changing all the time. Our environment's changing all the time. So what do we do to help ourselves? We acquire virtues. So we have rules and regulations, organization to our own mind, our own mental thinking, and in essence are raising our capacity to think, to know, to be receptive to a greater sense of sensitivity. Wishing to perceive and pursuing this is a means in of itself to increase one's receptivity. We, as Homo sapiens, are told by science, we perceive not only less than one percent of what's available of the energies of our electromagnetic spectrum, not only less than one percent, but less than one thousandth of one percent. Do we perceive (?) very little... Do we have a capacity to be titillated by a sound, color, or a whatever? This is where we stand in the context of capabilities of perceiving what's going on, energy. So when we speak of extrasensory perception, we're not speaking of extrasensory perception so much as we're speaking about gaining a little, tiny bit of a direction from something because we have no idea. I have no idea. Maybe you do. I think we all have some idea that there is more going on. When other animals, even just upon this planet Earth, have a sense of the deeper sounds of our world, of storms coming or of earthquakes about to occur, things like this. Or when animals have an ability to find their owners traveling thousands of miles in some circumstances to reunite. When people have extra sensory telepathic experiences or visions or a prophecy, this is what we're talking about. These little things. But they're not little, they're just different things to lesser and greater degrees of understanding, being here now, bundles of miracles from the beginning of time, finding in one's own majesty the sense of warmth one feels, one's blood coursing through one's veins, picking up thermal energy from our heart's own squeezing action. It's exercise. Squeeze your hands together, not necessarily tightly, but just squeeze them together and then open them. And do this twenty times. And as a result of this, your hands in this area, your palms, your fingers are all going to have been warmed up. Yes? This is what we're doing inside. When we breathe, the bellows of our lungs and our diaphragm open, stretch, and when we exhale, they do the same, they close, they shrink. This is a muscular activity, adding to the heart's muscular motions, and we have warmth, and we transfer it around. This is what we're doing: being aware of this, please. This is a tool, this is a simple and easy beginning to find a deeper sense inside of oneself. When you can feel your own warmth, when you begin to realize what you are, whom you are, why, how, what, when, and where. Asking these questions just of about that which you like to think of as your own being, and answering, or questioning, or not being sure. It's all okay and good answers. It is the question itself. It is opening Pandora's door. You can shut it if you wish. Being here now, not only aware of this warmth, but being aware of the circulation of one's blood, feeling one's pulse, feeling deeply inside, beneath one's skin, beneath the heat emanating past your hair, into the very beginning of this atmosphere in which we are immersed. The air from where? Where was the air we're breathing a year ago? A month, a day, an hour. What is it composed of? Six questions, Thomas Wilson, fifteen hundred and sixty AD. Thinking about these kinds of things, remembering this pulse that we're talking about occurs approximately ninety to a hundred thousand times a day. So it's natural that we leave it undisturbed in a sense of not granting it recognition. Usually, we ignore it, we take it for granted. Makes sense. It's not a criticism, it's just it makes sense. We have been able to relegate this to our primary brainstem is what I'm suggesting or thinking. It is more basic, it is further back in the chain of iterations of life which we are a part of. Part of evolution, part of our generational background. How many millions of generations in the rear is the act of one's heart squeezing part of, or one's lungs, most likely around the same time, right? Because they work together. Our breathing and our circulation, our vascular system. So how many? I think hundreds of millions of years. Thinking about these things. And no particular reason, but no particular reason not to, just to be aware, to be mindful. When one has reached a point of where one is relaxed and calm and peaceful, in a mode of communication, of receptivity, of calm, of peace, of enduring tranquility, of being a witness, not a judge or a jury, but a witness, an observer to everything one can be. And when one is not of realizing this and reconsidering, every moment is unique. So we're aware not only of our pulse then, but of our chest rising and subsiding, our diaphragm, of the heat being created by this muscular activity, and we're wondering and waiting for us to go further, and we're here, our whole bodies trembling with the awareness of thirty trillion cells shimmering with life, being here now, truly a bundle of miracles, humble before all that we've been talking about, for the majesty, the immensity, for the incredibleness of what we're part of. Thankful that we have this moment. The music continues for another minute. From my heart to yours, from your heart to mine. May we spread good will and positive self-improvement to all humankind.
