Zaran the Gardener, planting seeds of & nourishing our Soul with mindfulness
Aka, "Our Practice: Sharing" is a Returning to our Senses, Why? Who we are, forgotten, taken for granted, most likely, this describes all of us, then Remembering is important, which will lead us to realize how very much more similar we are than we usually think... Got around fifteen minutes, Let me help plant some seeds in your Soul. Mindfulness results from widening one's perspective in meaningful ways. It is more than just using meditation as a tool, it is how you use it that opens the doors. Usually, fellow practitioners don't talk about this or they cover it scantily as it takes a deep dive of investigating our Selves and gets personal real quick. Depth is how we learn to distinguish our foundation, sure we might stumble or step on some toes, yet, honesty & authenticity is what acts as our springboard to Success. Open mindedness is an important key.
My goal is yours, to improve in a soulful, harmonious manner. Simple experiences can lead to natural, easy ways to greater self awareness and clarity. There is no mystical or religious tone here, just accumulated scientific wisdom. Don't think that your possibilities are limited from the outside, it is more "our selves thinking" that limit whom we are. Change, as in "all of the Universe" constantly shifting, is actually part of our gift as it is always nudging us, jostling us to respond or react, bingo, that is whom we are, whom we are.... now. If you are as tired of failure as I have been, if you want to change your Life in positive ways without mumbo jumbo, if you are disappointed when help starts asking for money, and if you are ready to commit (not to me), but to your Self, to your Practice, then welcome aboard. If not, we are always here.
The cost is still considerable, not in currency, it is in your commitment of time, I don't take it lightly, 15 minutes of formal mediation is a lot, begun best at the beginning of one's day (better to benefit you), we accept all forms of excuses when you can't, but understand, it is "practice" that actually helps one improve. Even if you can make 5 minutes that will do to start. What this means is "you" are beginning to develop "whom you want to be" in your practice sessions. If you are not there or not being attentive, or not committing, then how can you expect to proceed and succeed? Many live and die, never to know what it means to be fully alive, never appreciating the simple gift of life we have been given.

I see all good people. Good morning. It actually wouldn't be fair to assume that everyone doesn't have a good side or good moments or good thoughts or redeeming characteristics. It can be that there are so many bad characteristics that they overwhelm the good, but nonetheless, I see all good people is a nice way to look at our world as the brotherhood and sisterhood of mankind, of understanding and coming to terms with the possibility, the reality of everyone on this planet, Homo sapien-wise, being one's relative, bigotry easily falls aside. When this is your cousin that is weak or strong, bright or not. The color of one's skin or other superficial physical characteristics are not what determines whom we are. This is environmental conditions we just were speaking of. It is our DNA that's binding us as one. One may or may not feel comfortable with this, but the truth remains. Being receptive, having integrity, having a sense of honesty, of authenticity, is where we begin each moment in each day. Do we recognize our opportunity to be receptive, to contemplate something perhaps we weren't thinking about positive or negative? For instance, I have basil plants out on my balcony, and just having moved here a month ago, I, you know, brought them out and put a nice spot for them and started taking care of them again, and you know, utilizing some of the basil leaves for Italian pasta for sauces. And I noticed that they were drying up every day, so I looked at them and I saw some roughness in the stems, but thought I should take a look, but didn't. You see the receptivity of that moment. And now again I look today because I'm seeing it every day, and I'm going to myself, wait a minute, this isn't right. I mean, the soil is it that bad that the water's not holding, or what is it that's going on? And I see that there's a gazillion bugs on them. And the bugs are eating the liquid out of their stems. And so, even though I was watering it every day, they were being drained of fluid. It took me a week and a half or something like that to come to terms with this possibility.
SpeakerBeing here now, realizing the changing nature of our universe, and our acceptance of this, of our desirous state of mind, of wanting to be more perceptive, of having heightened awareness, they are admirable goals. Why is it that people say this? Because one's moment is more filled with details, with the potential of richness, of depth, of reaching one's soul, of being in awe, in love, understanding, perception of what's going on. We can be superficial or we can be deep. We can be contemplative or we can be reactive. These are all choices one makes. And they all come from inside of oneself, Most, also one's response to whatever is occurring. Conditions environmental also apply, of course. Being aware of just how lucky we are to be able to do the things that we have done and hope to do from these moments forward. Realizing that change is manifesting itself in every and any way it conceivably can. Do not expect tomorrow to be like today, for it will not be. It cannot be the same. Accepting being receptive, being aware, thinking, remembering, contemplating as much if not everything, as much as one can. One making better decisions, one making their internal calculations based upon their own experience and accumulated wisdom. Lucky are you who find this way. For the days of one's life will be richer and fuller. It is what it is. Attention fosters energy. You have more energy, you have a greater capacity, potential. It is as simple as this. Being comfortably postured, brave, maybe fearful but looking ahead. Maybe having anxiety but making an effort. Fortune favors those who are bold, who are provocative, who are utilizing their potential to keep pressing forward in conscientious and small stepped ways. Realizing patience is a virtue, curiosity, and wanting to acquire and be in a state of harmony, grace. One is as receptive as one can be, allowing for more. Being aware of one's physicality in many different ways, in the thermal energy, the heat emanating from one's body, many places, many ways, to one's awareness of one's pulsing vascular system, of one's whole body undulating with energy, with this heartfelt process of squeezing, undulating with one's cadence of life, one's dance. Thirty-seven trillion cells singing in unison, or waves, also undulating, as their individual vitality is refreshed, being aware of this, of one's depth, of one's cellular membranes, mitochondria, ATP, of one's DNA, our link, our key to evolution. It is everything is joined together. Everything is made of the exact same energy of creation. We speak of being bundles of miracles. There is nothing which is not. Man is one of a seemingly endless array of creativity, complexity, of creation's energy, godliness, God, being here now. How lucky we are to be able to play, to take our ships out onto the lake and guide them about, steer, be curious and investigate. This is what we're doing in different symbolic ways. And you and I are here together shining a light on ourselves, illuminating what too often is taken for granted. Be a beacon unto all you see, know, feel, come into contact with, even fifty feet away, shine inside your beacon of kindness, of hospitality, understanding, compassion. Grow. Grow in your flowing awareness of all of these different aspects of being here now, flowing, growing like a seed, glowing in one's awareness of one's own radiance, of course, as it need be. Beginning with one's own foundation. When it is lost and the flicker of the flame extinguishes in one's mind's eye & travels to something different, in a different way, possibly uncomfortable or unsatisfactory. Light oneself up again. Inside of one's heart, there is an eternal flame in one's soul. Light oneself up. Glow, flow, grow, and shine, allowing one's radiance, spreading every and any which away. We need it. We want it. It need be done. We each have a responsibility as stewards of our world to be this way. I know too often we are unaware of our own power, much less our own responsibilities to each other. That we are here finding a way.
