Zaran the Gardener, planting seeds of & nourishing our Soul with mindfulness
Aka, "Our Practice: Sharing" is a Returning to our Senses, Why? Who we are, forgotten, taken for granted, most likely, this describes all of us, then Remembering is important, which will lead us to realize how very much more similar we are than we usually think... Got around fifteen minutes, Let me help plant some seeds in your Soul. Mindfulness results from widening one's perspective in meaningful ways. It is more than just using meditation as a tool, it is how you use it that opens the doors. Usually, fellow practitioners don't talk about this or they cover it scantily as it takes a deep dive of investigating our Selves and gets personal real quick. Depth is how we learn to distinguish our foundation, sure we might stumble or step on some toes, yet, honesty & authenticity is what acts as our springboard to Success. Open mindedness is an important key.
My goal is yours, to improve in a soulful, harmonious manner. Simple experiences can lead to natural, easy ways to greater self awareness and clarity. There is no mystical or religious tone here, just accumulated scientific wisdom. Don't think that your possibilities are limited from the outside, it is more "our selves thinking" that limit whom we are. Change, as in "all of the Universe" constantly shifting, is actually part of our gift as it is always nudging us, jostling us to respond or react, bingo, that is whom we are, whom we are.... now. If you are as tired of failure as I have been, if you want to change your Life in positive ways without mumbo jumbo, if you are disappointed when help starts asking for money, and if you are ready to commit (not to me), but to your Self, to your Practice, then welcome aboard. If not, we are always here.
The cost is still considerable, not in currency, it is in your commitment of time, I don't take it lightly, 15 minutes of formal mediation is a lot, begun best at the beginning of one's day (better to benefit you), we accept all forms of excuses when you can't, but understand, it is "practice" that actually helps one improve. Even if you can make 5 minutes that will do to start. What this means is "you" are beginning to develop "whom you want to be" in your practice sessions. If you are not there or not being attentive, or not committing, then how can you expect to proceed and succeed? Many live and die, never to know what it means to be fully alive, never appreciating the simple gift of life we have been given.

Good morning. Glad to be here. Glad to be alive. Every day we need to remember, we need to remind ourselves of our own sense of consciousness, of the vitality of our own lives, of our families, of our communities, of our nations, of our world. Every day. It is better every day than just once in a while. Because being aware once in a while is a sense of complacency. And it is not the way animals are that survive in the wild. While you are being complacent, for instance, as a particular type of animal, you may very well lose your life. Someone may come along and eat you. So in a natural state, we need to be aware. We need to be resistant to a sense of complacency. We need to dial in and remember the majesty of creation. We have this capability, we have this degree of sentience at this point in our evolution, and we need to accept and hone our skills. Because this is what we have. By so doing, we can help mankind, each of us as individuals, and together as a whole, to forward ourselves into better, more resilient, more flexible, more adaptive societies, more open-minded, allowing individuality and uniqueness. This is what we're talking about every day. Music, art, science, individual expression, creativity, curiosity. Things that we might just as well call virtues, we call traits, we call characteristics or qualities. And yet it is easy to be caught up in the humdrum of daily existence in the first world, second world, third world economies, we are tied into other responsibilities as well. We need to earn a living, we need to procure food, shelter, water. We need to do these things for a basic harmony and existence in our lives, in our societies. And then all of a sudden, if you start throwing in the other responsibilities, evolution or our historical context has in a sense forced upon us, one's own birthplace, one's own circumstances surrounding one's birthplace, one's family, one's religious orientation, one's home, what kind of government one has that one is operating under, what kind of economy, what kind of environment. All of these practical considerations are important. They all are part of whom we are. When we are more open-minded, when we take a wider view, a greater perspective on our planet, our whole planet, not a community, not a nation, not one religion or another, one society or one culture or another, one way of governing or another, one way of acting and being oneself or another, and gaze upon the entirety, the totality, the perspective of our whole planet. Then one begins to look at the individual parts of it a little differently. Perhaps my hope is with a little more degree of compassion and empathy, of understanding, of one's own sense of maturity and wisdom, one's experience, to have better understanding of what is going on in the context of our whole world. Not getting caught up in judgments, but being a witness, being objective, being non-judgmental. We need to remember and remind ourselves of whom and what we are. We, as Homo sapiens, cover most of our planet where it is inhabitable, and we have done many great and many despicable things. We have room to improve, and I can say that decidedly because as these words are being spoken, there are unfortunately still many instances of wars and misunderstandings rather than collaborations and compromises. Greed and egotism is all too often holding the reins of power. It is these kinds of individuals that wish to rise and be powers, to be in control and command, setting their sights to take advantage of systems, narrow-minded. This is what we're seeing in our world today. Is it right or wrong? Well, it's first of all been here in many ways already for thousands of years. This is not new news. This is a continuation of what has been. Many people's suggestions is that this is a transitional period of mankind's development. I hope so. I hope we don't end up like perhaps Atlantis did as a historical myth that's risen, become, and now is gone, but rather a continuation of Earth expanding, our people growing in wisdom and maturity of how to live amongst the different civilizations beyond mankind. Don't think that we are alone in this universe. I can't see how it can be this way. If this intrudes upon one's own sense of conditioning of one's own cultural, religious, societal education and background, I am sorry, but I think we're talking about common sense now rather than these other aspects. There are trillions upon trillions of habitable planets in our universe. I think that life abounds. I think that life is developing as I am speaking these words across the face of the universe, some more, some less old than our own. I think we need to be honest, attain and continue to have a sense of honesty and integrity of what most likely is. What we can do to improve, what we can refrain from to help our improvement. Being here now in our own comfort and undisturbed environments, we can view and think and muse about what might be, what might come to pass. It begins with one remembering whom we are. It is important to remember, to herald in one's day as it begins, greater opportunity, wider perspective, deeper analysis and understanding, a great sense of compassion and empathy, of kindness, of generosity. To whom? To oneself, as much as to others, to one's family, one's friends, one's business associates, one's community, etc. Sometimes there is a greater call for sacrifice, sometimes less. Sometimes it is more in one's favor, and sometimes it is in another's. But it is in remembering our sense of humanity, wherein we have the greatest chance to gain and not be a memory of what once might have been a great civilization, but is now gone. This is the beginning or the second beginning of the Aquarian age. It is a time where we have thousands of years of recorded history in one way, shape, or form. With this knowledge, we can ascertain where we can better ourselves, where mistakes have been made, where promises have been fulfilled, and we can see the results of each and everything. There is a saying that is often used, if you don't learn about history, then you are apt to repeat it. Something like that. That's the point. This is the point, which we are talking about. Thinking about these things. You want to think about your skin and your teeth and your tongue and your pulse and your breath and the warmth emanating from your body as you vibrate and quake with energy. Think about all of these things. Be wiser, climb higher, being here now. We are bundles of miracles, humbled. When we acknowledge the majesty of all of creation, thankful. When we realize that gift of life is what we each are given, continuously given. Hold your breath and don't breathe. How long will you last? Not long. Life is tenuous indeed. Our bodies are frail, and even to some degree prone to disease. We need be careful in everything we do. Think. It is why remembering is so important. It is why the word practice is so important. At one's own peril, at one's own disadvantage or advantage, we make it a task, a responsibility or not, to remember whom we are. It is you in what you are remembering, and me what I am remembering, and the wholesomeness or lack of it of each of us, it is a world of individuals, n amaste.
